Hansoft - the Gasell of the year for the second time
Hansoft has been awarded the prestigious Gasell of the year 2011 for the second year in a row.
The Gasell is a competition in growth and awarded to the fastest growing companies in all Swedish regions by Sweden’s leading financial newspaper Dagens Industri. A Gasell has to have doubled its turnover through organic growth, shown a positive result the last four years, and have solid and stable finances among other criteria’s. Hansoft was awarded the Gasell of the year in Uppsala 2011, meaning it was the fastest growing company in the region.

Hansoft awarded Export Hermes 2011
Hansoft has recived Export Hermes 2011, an annual prize awarded by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and the International Chamber of Commerce, ICC, to two companies with a stable and growing export to many countries based on a well thought-out marketing strategy and with good profitability.
The jury’s reasoning behind its selection of Hansoft reads: “Hansoft has with qualified competence and outstanding understanding for their customers’ special technical demands become a leader in their niche in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.”

Hansoft founders awarded "Årets Företagare Uppsala, 2011"
The founders of Hansoft have been awarded the business persons of the year in Uppsala, 2011.
The founders of Hansoft; Erik Olofsson, Hans Andersson and Patric Palm, were awarded "business persons of the year" in Uppsala for being extraordinary creative, have high business morals, great growth potential and having put Uppsala on the map, among other criteria.
19 companies were nominated in the category and the winners were announced at the awards show in Uppsala on March 9, 2011.

Hansoft awarded "Gasell 2010"
Hansoft has been awarded the prestigious "Gasell of the year" in Uppsala län.
The Gasell is a competition in growth and awarded to the fastest growing companies in all Swedish regions. Hansoft received the prize by governor Peter Egardt at the Gasell gala in Stockholm Concert Hall on November 29, 2010.

Hansoft to final in "Årets Erövrare"
Hansoft was one of five finalists in Veckans Affärer's newly founded award "Årets Erövrare" to a promising Swedish export company.
The seminars and awards ceremony was held at Astoria in Stockholm and speakers included a number of celebrated business founders as well as the Swedish Minster for trade: Ewa Björling.
The other finalists were: "TAT - The Astonishing Tribe", "Looft", "Swedish Hasbeens" and the winner "Snickers Workwear".

Hansoft wins Best Tools Provider Award at Develop Awards 2010
Third time lucky – after having been in the final two years in a row, Hansoft finally scooped the Best Tools Provider at the Develop Awards 2010.
This year’s Develop Industry Excellence Awards saw a wide variety of industry luminaries and Hansoft was up against Autodes, Scaleform, Havok, SCE, Dolby and Audiokinetic in the "Best Tools Provider"-category. A team from Hansoft accepted the award at the gala dinner in Brighton.
“We have launched two new, strong releases this spring and being recognized by our industry peers feels truly amazing for all of us. We are also grateful to everyone at leading developers that constantly provides us with feedback and ideas on how to improve Hansoft. That is feedback we really listens to but this close contact also makes our work more fun,” said Patric Palm, Hansoft CEO.

Hansoft in Develop Awards 2010 final
Once again, Hansoft is competing in the Best Tools Provider-category at Develop Awards, during Develop in Brighton 2010.
Now in their eighth year, the Develop Industry Excellence Awards once again take place in Brighton at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, on the evening of July 14th.
While there are a number of awards in this industry, the Develop Awards are the only peer-voted prizes for UK and European games developers which focus purely on creativity, teamwork, and inspiring innovation.

Hansoft co-founders listed as Swedens 16th and 17th best developers
Erik Olofsson and Hans Andersson, co-founders of Hansoft, have been listed as Sweden's 16th and 17th best developers.
The list of Sweden's 100 best developers is made annually by the magazine and website "Computer Sweden". The candidates have been nominated by readers and editorial staff and the jury has rewarded a prestigeless and pragmatic attitude as well as the ability to communicate and explain.

Hansoft scoops the Bona Postulata prize 2010
10 entrepreneurial business in Uppsala are awarded the Bona Postulata prize 2010, and Hansoft is one of them.
Bona Postulata is latin for "Great Opportunitis" and the prize aims to encourage local Uppsala businesses with great development potential. 10 winners are awarded a membership in a unique network within business development and an educational weekend at Hammarskog's Herrgård, which is followed up with a number of meetings during the year to further strengthen the competence of the participants.
The Bona Postulata prize was founded in 1999 by Advokatfirman Lindahl and Öhrlings PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Hansoft founder on Develop's 30 under 30-list
Hans Andersson, Chief Development Officer and co-founder of Hansoft, has made it into Develop's annual list of "games development's rising stars".
"Hans was part of the original team at Starbreeze, but co-founded Hansoft in 2002 with Erik Olofsson and Patric Palm (both of whom are just over 30, bless ‘em). They committed to Hansoft development in 2005, and Hans – now just scraping into the list at 29 years old – has served as chief development officer of the much-loved project management software ever since." Hansoft founders listed as "uppstickare" of the year
Hansoft's founders: Patric Palm, Erik Olofsson and Hans Andersson were among Sweden's 50 most sucessful young entrepreneurs when the Swedish career network shortcut listed 100 people under the age of 35 who take part in "shaping the future of Sweden".
An entrepreneur under the age of 36, who has reached success during the year and serves as an inspiring role model - that's an "Uppstickare". Members of Shortcut and other interested have nominated founders of businesses. Freelancer Johanna Alskog has done the research and the jury, consisting of people from Swedish business life, have judged the the nominated based on the criteria above.
Hansoft's founders ended up on position 31-50 out of 100 listed.

Hansoft has been nominated in the tools category of the Develop awards 2009, with its latest release - Hansoft 5.3.
Every July, Develop hosts the biggest awards night on the game development industry calendar with over 400 people attending representing companies from around the world.
Now in their seventh year, the Develop Industry Excellence Awards once again take place in Brighton at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, on the evening of July 15th.
While there are a number of awards in this industry, the Develop Awards are the only peer-voted prizes for UK and European games developers which focus purely on creativity, teamwork, and inspiring innovation. Not marketing. Not hype.

Hansoft 5.0 in the final of Frontline Awards 2007
The editors of Game Developer magazine have named the finalists for the 2007 Front Line Awards, and Hansoft is nominated in the Programming/Production category.
Each year, Game Developer looks at the powerful lineup of new products and new releases of favorite tools, from game engines to books, and selects the top five in six different categories. After a comprehensive judging process, one winner is chosen in each category. Front Line Award recipients represent the most innovative, user-friendly, and useful products from behind the scenes of the world’s best video games.
The winners will be announced in the January 2008 issue of Game Developer.
