Hansoft sponsors Gotland Game Awards

Hansoft sponsors Gotland Game Awards with Hansoft project management and defect tracking tool to nine lucky winning teams.

During the Gotland Game Awards, more than 500 GAME education students of the University of Gotland are competing with games developed over the year. The students themselves requested Hansoft licenses as a prize for the winners, since Hansoft has been a popular tool during the study period.

”It is a big advantage for our students to be able to use the same software as the leading game development studios and an important part in enhancing the quality of the education. We are proud to announce Hansoft as a sponsor, and thanks to our partnership, our students will get a flying start into work life and a competitive advantage on the job market,” said Håkan Mattsson, teacher at the Games Program, the University of Gotland.

Hansoft is an integrated solution for agile and lean development, collaborative scheduling, real-time reporting, bug tracking / QA, workload coordination, portfolio and document management, used by the most demanding software developers in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.

”We have great experiences from having sponsored similar awards where the winners grew to commercially successful, publisher signed projects. I’m excited to follow the Gotland Game Awards to see what the young talents are up to and how far the projects will reach in the future,” said Patric Palm, Hansoft CEO.

The winners of the nine categories are awarded one Hansoft license each, including 10 users to use in projects for a year.
